DeSantis Says He Is Undeterred by Order Shutting Down Florida’s ‘Alligator Alcatraz’

A federal judge had ordered that much of the Florida immigration detention center be dismantled, a ruling Gov. Ron DeSantis called “preordained.”“This is not going to deter us,” Gov. Ron DeSantis said of the judge’s ruling on the immigration detention center. “We’re going to continue working on the deportations, advancing that mission.”
