Idaho Criminalizes Transgender Use of Some Bathrooms in Private Businesses

The bill passed Friday by the Idaho legislature would make it a crime punishable by up to a year in prison to use a gender-designated bathroom that does not conform to a person’s sex at birth.Idaho extended regulations on how transgender people can use bathrooms in schools to virtually all public restrooms.
